At Shelterhouse, I implemented home visits for newly housed individuals to encourage home management and address barriers that may affect their ability to remain housed. In tandem, I created documents to leave with Shelterhouse made to support both clients and staff. These documents were the Housing Form, the Resource Guide, and Occupational Therapy Position document.

• To complete this goal, I conducted 4-6 weekly visits with 3 clients who expressed interest in the capstone program. 

​

• I also assessed the needs for the created documents through natural conversation with staff and clients to ensure they would be relevant for the intended audience.
